A:AnswerNo ozone. I had a machine that omitted ozone. It bit the dust so I got this unit. I love it. I have 2 dogs and you cannot smell dog in my house. My niece has 2 "big" dogs and my eyes used to water when I went into her house. I bought one for her and it has made a huge difference. I don't know if it will work on cat urine smells. I do not believe it will work like an ozone machine. My ozone machine if I ran it on high would take every oder out of the room in a 12 hour period. Hope this helps a little.
