“I have system with 4 cameras (cat5 wired). The DVR went bad and now I need a new system in my business. As long as I stay with a cat5 system, shouldn't the cameras I already have installed work? WOuld I only be charged to install 4 additional cameras?”

I believe the DVR has to match the cameras installed to work properly. Get same same model that went bad. The POE cables can be reused.
