Evan, the Best Buy version is designed to work with the Roku Soundbar. The RokuTV Wireless speakers only work with Roku TV's like TCL, Sharp and Hisense. Like you mentioned they have a slightly different design and touch remote, but internal speakers are the same and the sound quality will be very similar.
