Go into Control Panel and click on Mouse. Then click on Pointer Options. Under Motion, you can set how fast or slow you'd like the mouse to respond.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If by touchy you mean it moves across the screen too fast or too far that can be changed in Windows control panel. If you meant that it moves with very little pressure applied to the physical mouse then you could easily replace the rubber stops on the bottom with ones thicker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Anonymous If the mouse pointer is moving too quickly, the first thing I'd check is the pointer speed settings in windows. It might be a little different depending on the version of windows, but you should be able to go into the Control Panel, choose "Mouse" and then in the Mouse Properties screen, choose the Pointer Options tab. There you should be able to select a slower pointer speed. If that doesn't solve the issue, try using a different USB slot or replacing the battery in the mouse. Sometimes random solutions like that will help get rid of erratic behavior. -James
