In a post on their official website, Withings CEO announced that the ScanWatch will finally hit the market in September 2020

At long last, in October Withings revealed that the Scanwatch has finally obtained FDA approval and is expected to hit the US Market in November.

Since Scanwatch is medical grade (beyond the capability of any other smart watch including Apple Watch) the US federal government has to first certify Scanwatch in order for Withings to sell it here as such. The Europeans have certified the device and its medical grade readings already. So, that’s why you can buy it there or find it on the Withings website priced in Euro currency.

It will be released in 2nd quarter 2021.
