“Will watch function at all (even with reduced functions) without a smart phone? As an older couple, we can benefit from the ECG, Oximeter, heart rate, etc. Are the apps only installable on a phone, or could they be downloaded to a blue tooth enabled pc?”

Mine required a phone to set up the watch and install an update, but after that it works when disconnected from everything. I cant speak to the setup using a computer as i dont know if that is an option or not.
