• It REALLY likes 2.4, you can make it work on 5, but must configure each bulb in dividually, by using an installation network which mimics 2.4. I was able to get this to work once, failed the second time, changed to a mesh network, works great on that. Good Luck.

• Yes, as long as your bulb is connected to the inter net, you can command &/or program it's functions via the app if your device is also connected to the internet, whether using data or wifi services. If internet services are suspended or disconnected, the bulb still works standardly as a regular bulb {ON/OFF white light}, you just can't access the programmable features {like color changing or on/off timers}.

• Yes, but you have to add it through a different process. Instructions walk you through it. Mine are connected through 5g
