Nothing is being done to prevent bots, they went live on the 12th and sold out in less than 2 minutes. Primarily to large order bots. The data has been shown on some mtg reddit threads via bot trackers.

It always goes up for sale the day of release, but as stated by others it tends to get scooped up by bots. I was actually able to get a final fantasy collector box in my cart, but the system would not let me complete the order, most likely due to bots getting all the product immediately.
