Hello John! Thank you for your question. This tool is only built to be able to mulch leaves and soft debris. Worx recommends to blow all the leaves on a flat surface free of hard debris to avoid any being lodged into the motor housing. If any hard debris like rocks or sticks break the motor housing, the warranty may be voided on the tool. Thank you for choosing Worx!
