Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WORX WX082L ZipSnip is not recommended for cutting Kevlar fabric, as Kevlar is extremely abrasive and will dull the steel rotary blade very quickly. While the tool itself is unlikely to be damaged, cutting efficiency will drop rapidly and the material may begin tearing rather than cutting cleanly. The WX082L is best suited for light, non‑abrasive materials like cardboard, plastic, vinyl, and light fabrics; for Kevlar, specialized Kevlar‑rated shears or ceramic, carbide, or diamond‑coated cutting tools are a much better option.
