QuestionI am more interested in using this for arts & crafts. How good is it at maintaining a straight line, either one drawn on a surface or one guided by a ruler? Also, the cuts in photos look jagged--can it not cut a smooth line?

- Answer Mine cuts a straight line no problem. I used it on hard plastic packaging and triple-walled (very stiff) cardboard. It ripped right through it. I would not use it on fabric or anything like that though. Get some quality scissors for that.

- Answer It would not work for opening packages. It’s a circular blade with a guide on the bottom, you have to get that guide under what you want to cut.

- Answer If she just wants basic shapes, yes. If she’s trying to get a lot of detail? Nope. It doesn’t make sharp turns well. More a straight line.
