The machine has a turn knob that can be weak all the way to stronger and as one turns up the knob, the leaves can be picked up faster and in very heavy amounts. To avoid picking up small pine cones or twigs or rocks just turn down the knob and use rake at times just to make sure no rocks are in the pile. Just do not point at plants as the mulcher might pick them up if knob is too high.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can walk around suckling up the leaves or you can blow them into a pile and suck them up. I like piling them up. You can blow the leaves out of your flowers and then mulch (especially if you have landscaping mulch in the flower beds) It will pick up pine needles. I've never had any problems with it picking up dirt or soil. It doesn't like rocks, sticks, nuts etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work better if you rake your leaves into small piles first, but you can still use it. It will just take longer.

We recommend blowing the leaves into a pile on a flat surface with no debris and then sucking the leaves and pine needles up! Using this method will also stop dirt from the flower beds being sucked up. Thank you for choosing Worx!
