Thank you for your important questions regarding the Wyze Video Doorbell (Wired) and your privacy concerns. Here’s what you need to know: Privacy & Access We are committed to your privacy. Only you and those you authorize can access your camera’s footage. No external parties, including government agencies or law enforcement, can access your camera without your explicit permission. Offline Functionality The Wyze Video Doorbell (Wired) can function in a limited way when offline. If paired with the Wyze Chime, the chime will ring when the doorbell is pressed, even without Wi-Fi. However, the doorbell will not record event videos to the cloud or send push notifications to your phone if it is offline. Local Storage & Recording The Wyze Video Doorbell (Wired) does not have a microSD card slot for local storage. It can only record to the cloud, which requires an internet connection. This means it cannot record all hours of the day or capture motion events locally when offline. If you have any other questions or need help choosing a product that supports local storage, please let us know!
