“I purchased two of these and the time lapse function is not working. I have an sd card installed and am connected to Wi-Fi. If I don’t manually stop the time lapse, it is not in my album. If I exit the app the Timelapse doesn’t record. It vanishes. Help.”

I pay $14 a year which includes both cameras. All of the data is stored on their servers which is much better than the SD card. The SD card is another point of failure & not worth it. I have time lapse on mine. Go to their website and reach out via chat.

Because of the large file size, your phone or tablet must be on the same wi-fi network as your camera so that the transfer can happen via wi-fi. After putting your phone or tablet on the same wi-fi network as your camera, navigate to the Album in the Wyze app and tap the download icon on the time-lapse video. Once the download is complete you will be able to view the video. You can also remove the microSD card from your camera and view or download the video on a computer.
