“if the WiFi is 100 -150' away from the camera, does it still work? I need to install the camera on the fence which will be 100' to 150 ' away from the WiFi.”

Yes it should connect, it depends on how strong your wifi is. You can download this app called net analyzer and it can tell you how strong your wifi is. If it says -70dbm it means your wifi is strong, if it's lower then 50dbm then you need a stronger wifi.
