• Hi there. No, Wyze Cam Floodlight doesn't need a base to use but it comes with a pre-installed Wyze Cam v3, which controls the floodlight. You cannot use the floodlight without a Wyze Cam v3. Wyze Cam Floodlight is not compatible with other Wyze Cam, only for Wyze Cam v3.
