Questioncan you play games on the Series S that are downloaded on an external hard drive even if those games were downloaded via disk?

- Answer Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, since an inserted disc is required for games installed by disc to play (even if they're on an external hard drive), this will not work. Xbox Series S may only play games purchased digitally.
