- Answer You just have to wait a little bit like 10 minutes, and then it will change back to add to cart so you can buy it. It just takes a while to load.

- Answer Best Buy had it in stock when I ordered it online. It was delivered and available for pickup at my local store. But I think if it says out of stock there was no option to order it, seeing as how that went for the Xbox Series X when I tried to purchase that console.

- Answer While your standard external hard drive will connect to your Xbox Series S and allow you to play older games from it, games that are enhanced for Xbox Series X/S require a Solid State Drive and cannot be played from it.

- Answer Thanks for your question. The Xbox wireless controller takes two AA batteries. It's not rechargeable unless you purchase an optional rechargeable battery pack.

- Answer Thanks for asking! Neither Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold are necessary to play games on Xbox Series S. The exception is that an active Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership is required to play games online. If your son already has a Xbox Live Gold account, he will be able to use it on Xbox Series S.
