I added this card to a Dell Optiplex 755 standard bay Mid-size desktop - The Optiplex came with 4Gigs of Ram - I added 4 more to be safe... - The card requirements do ask for a Gig of your Ram.

You may need a better power supply as this card will still draw some more power than your on chip graphics card. If you are trying to buy some time with your computer, then I would just grab it and run the entire machine over to BestBuy. If you truly want a gaming computer, then you might be disappointed with your results and this card. Good luck

Please try again later.You can check if your computer is compatible with this card you have to make sure that the case's dimensions are not smaller than Height: 0.6 inches Width: 2.7 inches Depth: 6.6 inches and that your power supply can supply a minimum of 350W to this card. And I would not recommend this card for gaming because it has a clock speed of 625 megahertz (which will struggle to run many games), and it cooled passively using a heat sink, this will most likely cause this card to overheat and then thermal throttle, this will decrease the longevity and performance of this card while gaming. I highly recommend the PNY - VERTO NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card - Black because this card will fit in your computer and have a sufficient amount of power from the power supply and is very capable of playing new-release and older games at high resolutions.
