According to the specs on your motherboard, this card will work if you are not currently using the PCI x 16 slot for anything else. You may also need a new power supply 400W+. I would bring the system to a BestBuy and let the Geek Squad help you out. Enjoy

I checked the model of your PC and it says you have a 300 watt power supply (which really is on the very low end and surprising for an HP). The specs here on the Best Buy page say you should have at least 350 watt available. That said, I did a quick search online and a gamer site tested the card and said it used a low 19 watt. If you haven't added any other cards into your PC, you should be OK to give it a try. Especially if you don't do any high-demand graphics applications for extended periods of time, I would say. That said, if your PSU dies, you can always replace it. Just keep sniffing for a burnt smell. Hope this helped a bit.
