This particular model can be used in most towers. I personally used it in an older low profile tower. The additional port can be taken off to make the card smaller.

Please try again later.Go to your computer manufacturers website and download the technical manual - If yours is a home build - then go to the Mainboard manufacturer and download the mo-bo's tech manual - in both cases, you're looking for Gfx support and a slot called PCI Express - Then you will need to adjust the BIOS to see that slot, first.

HOWEVER if you have a low profile case or are working with a min-itx system the d-sub will need to be removed and remounted to a lowprofile bracket which may or may not be included the details on best buys websites are as usual VERY VAGUE!!1 typically i remove the dsubs and keep the parts for the customers since they paid for the card ..
