“I purchased one of these cards and installed it in my four year old I-7 Dell that has a 385 watt power supply and get a no signal on monitor no matter what cable I use to the monitor. any idea what might be wrong?”

I'm not a computer guy, but mechanically inclined and I was able to install the new power supply in about 30 minutes. That's including unplugging from wall to plugging back into wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need a bigger power supply, probably. The card draws 75 watts from the slot itself. Then depending on what else is in the computer and what you have plugged in to it you may not have enough juice to go around.

Make sure everything is plugged in.The other thing is that you have a power supply with 385 watts but the specifications state that the system needs a minimum of 400 watts. You might not be getting enough power to the graphics card.
