A:AnswerIt's not a MB connector as those are 8 pin (4 12 volt power on one side and 4 ground connections on the other) it is a GPU 6 pin connector. Yes you should use the 6 pin power as the card is rated at over 75 watts of power. The standard 16x PCIe slot is rated at 75 total watts and the extra 6 pin power connector provides up to another 75 watts of power. If you run any gaming software or anything that causes the card to work harder (thus drawing a higher power demand) it will go over the 75 watt power draw at the motherboard and could cause damage to the card or motherboard or both. The card comes with a Molex 4 pin to 6 pin adapter so as long as you have a power supply that can handle everything you have now plus another 75 to 100 watts of demand you should be okay. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerActually, the fan is not noticeable to me. I replaced a Radion RX-270x dual fan card with this one (I needed a Display Port). This newer single fan card is maybe 1/5th as loud as the 270x. Most of the time, it is silent and I hear it only when it is rendering some big job in Photoshop. This time is the only time I ever hear it.
A:AnswerThe price of popular graphics cards is rising due to the outbreak of cryptocurrency mining. In an effort to meet demand and increase supply, prices have been increased.

A:AnswerI do not know about the i5 7400 but I have 16 gbs of ddr 3 ( used to have 8 worked fine ) so I think 8 gigs will be fine I use it for games like ark. And other games that have some impact I use mine in a office computer and it seems to be fine I even have a 350 w and it works great but again I have a semi old pentium CPU from intel but it should be fine I see no reads on why it would not work .

A:AnswerI upgraded to a 550w power supply when I bought this card because I know I'll probably get a different card in a couple of years. It might be worth considering since the Corsairs go on sale quite frequently. But, depending on your current one, you might not need to.
A:AnswerIf you have an option to use dual graphics mode, it might work. I've read a few things online about the chip A10-7800. I guess it's also possible that it might conflict with the on chip graphics and slow it down. Maybe r7-250 might pair with it.
