How loud is the fan? Is it an active or passive fan? null

Actually, the fan is not noticeable to me. I replaced a Radion RX-270x dual fan card with this one (I needed a Display Port). This newer single fan card is maybe 1/5th as loud as the 270x. Most of the time, it is silent and I hear it only when it is rendering some big job in Photoshop. This time is the only time I ever hear it.

Active and can’t hear. Only spins under heavy use.

I sit right next to the computer box (within 12") and can't hear it at all.

I’m mining crypto currencies and the fan is pretty quiet.
