Yes the manufacturer warranty is 3 years, but you have to contact them, wait for a shipping label (once the manufacturer has decided that your issues are due to a faulty product, ship out said product, wait for them to verify that it is an issue (though most manufacturers will just send out a replacement anyway as part of customer service). Then you have to wait for them to ship you the replacement product. This can take days and even up to weeks. Best Buy's Geek Squad warranty: 1. Product has an issue 2. Take item to the store 3. They give you a replacement. Done in an afternoon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i would say no but then again my experiences with GS when I had to return something, i didnt have to wait. they would ask what whats wrong with it and i tell them and they swapped my item out. every time. whether it was a GPU, game console, etc. My case could be a special one. i do feel like they handle me a bit differently since i spend over 20k/year there. it's literally my 2nd home. i guess you could say you're paying for the convenience of just swapping out item when there's an issue. once you swap out your item though, you will have to renew GS protection on the new one.
