as of now im using it with a dell precision t5500 i'd say yes

Please try again later.Yes It is fully supported with past Gen PCI-E x8 or x16 slots,As long as your board supports PCI-E full slot cards then,Yes it is fully backwards compatible.I wouldn't mind a follow up with full specs of the machine it will be going into,only because the only issue you might incur would be the size of the card fitting the case,I am assuming even though it is a Xeon processor that it is not Actually a Server rack,wich would sometimes require it be a low profile form factor,But please let me know the full system specifications and i can follow up.Thanks
