• If u have app on phone U will get alert/message on app that batteries are low

• Yes - the lock keypad will show a low battery icon and the app will alert you for a couple of weeks ahead of time. If you do miss the notifications, or forget to change the batteries, you don't need to worry about getting locked out - the keypad has a 9V battery terminal at it's base and you can hold a 9V to that to enter your code, get inside and change the batteries.
