It doesn’t require any additional Amazon/Alexa components other than an account.

Each Alexa device is independent, including this sound bar. It works just like an Alexa Dot. All you need to do is log into it with your Amazon login.

Don't need a hub. Just an account. Works very well. Super easy set up.
