“Trying to use the Ethernet connection with this unit but when going through the musiccast controller app I have only been able to use WiFi. Does any one know how to change it to use a wired internet connection only? Thanks”

Go into your setup Via the remote. Then select Network. Then Network connection. Then Select WIRED.
