Yes at lease a foot away you never want to have lo voltage and high voltage close to each other . High voltage will distort sound and possible damage speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We did not have to place a certain distance from lights. In fact one of the speakers is next to a light in the ceiling and we have not experienced any static.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same speakers and one of them is near a fire detector and ceiling fan. My wires are run in my attic and wall and I just ran below any electric wires. As long as the wires are not touching I don't think you will notice any interference. Mine seem to work great and I am having no issues in the sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say at least 3 to 4 feet away from an electric source as well as any telephone source. You risk the chance of getting the infamous hum coming from the speakers if they are too close. And make sure to run descent wires with good insulation to lessen the chances of interference.
