• Yes it does, in fact you have three options with this unit: Optical Digital Audio, Coaxial digital audio, HDMI (ARC) Check the specs on your TV, one or more will be available.

• Not sure what you mean by digital audio input and then connecting to TV. Usually the audio output for a home theater system is handled by the receiver (this unit). However, this does have optical (digital) connection, as well as a healthy number of HDMI (also digital) connections, both in and out. Hope this helps. Peace.
