A:Answer The sound is transmitted through a single-channel RCA cable (the red/white(+/- yellow) cable combo that used to come with most home a/v stuff, but it only needs one cable, and the color doesn't matter), and it needs a standard 120v power supply (your standard-issue wall socket). It has no wireless capabilities. If your source has a different hook-up (wire-terminal type) you can strip one end off of an existing RCA and screw the wire in the center to red, the wire attached to the collar to black. If you're savvy and have to run the wire a long distance (or through a hole in your floor/wall), you can buy any small (18 awg or so) 2-conductor cable and the RCA ends. (they make them so you can attach to small wire with a #0 Phillips screwdriver, can be found at Radioshack if Best Buy doesn't sell them)
