• According to the Yamaha website, the answer is yes...this receiver does support 3D. I purchased it for it's versatility for visual as we as it's audio capabilities (Dolby Atmos and music streaming from multiple sources, including my desktop as a server). I am satisfied with my purchase by choosing it over other manufacturers.

• I have a 2016 OLED E6 with 3D and I run my cable and 4K player with 3d through this Yamaha receiver and it works well. The receiver passes the signal through. When I play a 3d movie it looks amazing on my setup. I hope that helps!
