I’ve never tried this, but in theory it should work. While there are only sub outs for the main zone, one can just connect the sub to the zone 2 preamp left and right output if your sub takes both left and right line-in. This setup uses the internal amp for your zone2 speakers, and preamp line-out for the zone 2 sub. Just use the full size speaker setting for the zone 2 speakers.
