“Looking to purchase a new receiver my pioneer elite SC-LX502 is giving me issues and is still under warranty. Looking at this Yamaha RX-A2A & Denon X2700H. Being they are basically in the same price point which receiver would be better for my 7.2 set up”

I would go Yamaha all day the RX-A2A excellent build quality does not get hot like Denon, Yamaha purer/cleaner sound.
