- Answer Speaker wires are not necessary for this sub. Purchase a subwoofer cable , also known as RCA cable. Be sure it is long enough. Connect the cable from the subwoofer pin on your receiver to the pin on the sub. Be sure to add the sub to your receiver set up to include it .

- Answer Most likely. You will need an RCA cable. If your receiver has a pre out for a subwoofer you will need a single RCA cable if not you will need to run a 2-way splitter from the left/right speaker B outputs to the single input on the subwoofer.
