Steve, ARC needs to be configured on your TV and the Receiver - that sets up the "Audio Return Channel" to the Receiver. If your TV doesn't support ARC, you could hookup Optical Out from your TV to Optical In on the Receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When streaming (Netflix, etc.) audio/video is inputted from your router/modem to the TV. The audio then has to be outputted to the Yamaha A/V receiver. To do this the TV must have an ARC HDMI which is connected to the receiver's ARC HDMI. On the receiver, I think, AV1 is the default input selection. Regardless, you can change the input selection in the menu. I changed mine to AUDIO1. If you don't have ARC on the TV you can use optical out on the TV to the receiver (or RCA composite on older TVs).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go to the input on your Yamaha , Netflix is on AV101 on my system. You may have to find the correct input on your system, I have this receiver.
