Yes, the Yamaha can connect via Bluetooth. My TV was new enough so I used the TV's HDMI arc port to connect the Yamaha and this permits me to control the volume using the TV remote. The Yamaha also turns on and off with the TV automatically using the HDMI arc connection from the TV.
