Not advisable. GSM is the unlocked version, Virgin Mobile is CDMA

Ur able to keep ur number with new cell phones. U must pick a provider and if ur transferring a discard u might wanna make sure that ur old phone didn't have viruses, etc that would be putinto the S7 edge ur wanting to use.

I own an S7 Edge and you would have to get a an S7 that's been unlocked to use any service... or buy one already connected to virgin.

CDMA and GSM plus unlocked is what you look for.

I see no reason that it would not work with your Virgin simcard. I use mine with Tracfone and have NO PROBLEMS at all.
