It is not glass. The glass screen protector is still subject to break/crack. Personally, I opted for the non glass protector.

It is not glass. The protector gives very good protection, but it is difficult to apply and leaves bubbles. I would advise you to purchase glass.

This is like a semithick plastic cover on your screen. It dents a little then goes back to it's normal shape if you drop it or would have gotten a scratch. I think the glass would shatter if you had that one and would have to replace it more often. The best buy worker told me this one is better for glare situations.

No, this screen protector is not glass. This screen protector is plastic film. Glass screen protectors are made of glass. Film screen protectors are usually made of plastic.

It is a type of rubber membrane that heals when scratched. It's not glass. I've had the best glass ones and they come off and or get dirt behind them constantly. this protector is awesome

This is a film product. Glass is much better I've always found. They usually dont lift like the plastic or film protectors. They also are stiff and shaped to your specific phone. Glass is more expensive but it wont need replaced near as fast, if at all during the life of your phone. 
My old phone has a glass protector on it and it's been on for 3 years and still has no signs of lifting or coming off.

it is not glass.....it is not plastic......it is like syran wrap that seems to work well against scratching...I have a small gouge in mine outside the viewing area but I can tell the screen is fine So far i am happy with it. $25 is a tough pill to swallow but register it and I think they would replace it if something like a tear would happen to it. More durable than the cheap ones on Ebay

No, not glass. This one won't pop off every time you drop your phone. It has adhesive and protects nicely while not changing the sensitivity of the screen or view of it. The glass was terrible and 2x the cost.

It is NOT glass. I have been using the clear "rubbery" protector by Zagg for many years. I think it is more protective against shock. Has a bit of grip to it. easy to clean.

is not glass, is plastic, the plastic ones have adhesive in its entirety, the glass ones only have adhesive in the edges, once dirt or air get in the edge of the glass ones, they will pop off your phone.

The glass screen protectors only have the sticky part on the two long edges. There is barely any space at all that is sticky. Because of this, they don't stay on very well. These are just like the old sticky sheet screen protectors. They work better in my opinion bc they stay on the phone.

if you can, please research and read all the reviews..... you will see 99.99% of the people COMPLAINT about the glass cover BREAK!! do not last longer and/or DO NOT FIT the phone , the silicone screen cover are also not well fit , do not allow the phone to work proper or the correct way, or you can see the S pen ""marks"" on the silicone cover.....
So Far there is not a ""PERFECT'' screen protector for it!!!!

It is a type of rigid glass like material. It will crack like glass if the impact is strong enough. There is actually space between sheild and actual phone screen except at contact points. I am not overly impressed with it versus the plastic. I like the glass feel over the plastic sheild but, not impressed with the way it adheres to the screen surface. It let's dust particles in under the sheild. This may be due to improper installation done by staff at BB.

No it is not glass, it is kinda like a plastic like film. The glass screen protectors basically give an added protection in most cases the glass breaks while your screen remains intact. A regular screen protectors basically helps protect from scratches, and usually is plastic and thin.

It is not glass. I have the case to protect against breaking the screen due to a drop. This screen protector is a thin clear plastic film that has a rubbery consistency. I believe it is meant more for scratch protection and it is doing a great job with that. I had the hard glass cover on the phone for a week and the adhesive failed and the cover fell off. The one I had , only had adhesive around the edges. It may have been pushed off of the screen by the phone cover. The curved surface of the screen may present an obstacle for the solid glass screen protectors.

This one is not. I've tried a couple of glass ones for my note 9 and none have worked. The problem is that they only adhere to the edges. This one has been great. It's a kind of rubber like membrane that covers the screen, adheres everywhere, and self heals. I've loved it.

Yes. The tempered glass is just that, glass, that's encased in between two layers of plastic to prevent it from shattering all over in case it is broken. The plastic/vinyl screen protectors are just little plastic or vinyl

This is a plastic "wet" application screen protector. Getting a curved glass screen protector is tough because most of them only have a small amount of adhesive on the edges. This causes problems when typing because the center portion is free of adhesive and is separated from the glass of the phone. Whitestone is a company that has a product that works well with curved screens but some think the process is too involved for their liking. Look up some youtube videos about it to get an idea.
