Depends on the original purchase daye and if the original purchaser registered it since the warranty starts on tgat date. If it is oast the 90 day window you won't be able to purchase it.

The different between AppleCare and AppleCare plus is that AppleCare plus offers two time replacement if any physical damage happen to your iPad. Never buy AppleCare plan for iPad or iPhone from unauthorized seller because the plan of these devices needs a code to be sent directly from Apple so they will make sure of that your device is working. Just Google Apple Care and call the telephone number ... they will run a simple diagnostic test (wirelessly) on the device and you will be all set up. Hope this answer helps.
