“Hi! There are mixed responses in regard to whether this can be used with OtterBox cases. Is anyone out there using this ZAGG model with the Defender? I'm assuming some deconstruction of the case would be required. Thnx!”

Yes, in fact I just purchased an otter box defender for my iPhone 5s and the glass fits perfectly. Just make sure you choose the right glass for whatever phone you have. Of course both parts of your case will need to come off before application.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure if this helps, but I use this screen protector with a lifeproof case, which are pretty thick. I've never owned an otter box but I know they are comparable to the lifeproof cases in terms of thickness..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've used it with an Otter Box Defender before and my husband has one under a Lifeproof Fre right now. There's a little need to tap a bit harder with the case cover over it but not so much that you would be bothered. I like a n extremely responsive screen to touch so I didn't keep that Otter box on mine. I can't handle them very well. My husband had had both these cases with Zaggs under the cases' screen protectors and had no problems at all.
