The side-by-side comparison between the Note 4 and 5 is the Note 4 is about 1/2" wider and longer than the Note 5. This screen is designed for the Note 4. Note on these screen protectors...Most don't cover from "edge-to-edge" within the bezel (outer rim of your case). So they'll protect the "part of the screen they cover". But the "edges" are where impact normally happens. The 2 "main" cutouts, as someone mentioned, are the "Menu" button and the Speaker Grill at the top. Since most screen protectors DON'T cover "edge-to-edge", there can in some instances, be room to "float" it between these two function spaces. But the thing is, Samsung (and most other vendors) I think PURPOSELY make these design changes so you CAN'T inter-change these items. The depth this "minor" design change made, has put a whole industry out of "Spy-resistant Screen Protectors for the Galaxy Note 4....from Sprint!" Check it out on Ebay and Amazon (since you're already on Best Buy). Knocked me out. So, simple answer, based on what you've asked is, because of the Menu button and the speaker grill, no. This protector is BIGGER than what you need (even if you get an "edge-to-edge" protector. And for $15 bucks? For a piece of thin tempered glass? It better fit right. (Sorry so long winded. lol)
