“Is the raised lip on the back cover the entire outer edge and camera or just the camera? IE will the phone lay flat on a surace”

The phone will not lay perfectly flat with the case on. The camera lip is significantly taller than the rest of the back of the case.

The lip is based around the lenses. It will not lay flat on a surface. However, it's a great case.
