QuestionCan you decrease the vent for this range hood from an 8" to a 6" vent? If you do what could happen? Thank you.

- Answer Hello, Only if the CFM is set to 590 or below. If left at max CFM and using 6 inch, the motor will over work causing it to fail prematurely and the warranty will be void as it is not installed to minimum spec. Thank you for your inquiry! - Zephyr
