Q: QuestionAre you supposed to trim this to the needed size? If so, how and/or how hard is it to do?

• A:Answer Hello, The duct cover extension should fit in telescopically to provide an extension to the stock duct covers, if it does need to be cut it can be taken to a sheet metal fabrication shop to be cut. We would not recommend the customer try to cut the metal themselves. Thank you for your inquiry. -Zephyr
