“Will this wine cooler accommodate larger sized bottles, for Champagne, Chardonnay, most Pinot Noirs - or is it only compatible with Bordeaux, Sauvignon Blanc type bottles? If both, can you fit 27 bottles if you have 14&13 of each type?”

Hello, When we reference bottle capacity for our wine (and beverage) coolers, we are referring to the maximum quantity of standard 750ml Bordeaux-style bottles that will fit into that particular cooler. In reality, there is no true “standard” bottle size in today’s wine market. If your collection includes any of these non “standard” Bordeaux-style bottles, your capacity can be lower than what we advertise the unit can hold. You would only be able to fit Magnum size bottles (3 1/2") on the top and bottom. Thank you for your inquiry! -Zephyr
