• yes, each door has a black rubber seal around the entire door so each side can have a different temperature based on contents.

• Yes they do have independent seals. Please note however, that the height of the shelving drawers on the left side just barely fit a standard bottle of wine. I have to make sure I place the bottle with the labels sideways or they may get scuffed up or torn upon removal.
