Will this operate well with the BlackMagic 4K? null

Yes but you will need counterweight to balance the width of pocket 4k. Smallrig makes a clamp/weight combo. You can rig up your own counterweight with zip ties and such but it will not be as convenient as a nice clean clamp made for the purpose.
