ZLINE does not offer downdraft ranges or cooktops at this time. Technically, the griddle can be removed from the cooking surface, however, you cannot replace this griddle with the traditional burner grates, as the burner is a single oval fish burner! Q: QuestionHow do you clean the cast iron grill/griddle? How do you clean the cast iron burner grates? I have never had cast iron before.

Our ranges do have a simmer burner, that will need to be manually turned on using the burner knobs, like all of the burners. Q: QuestionDoes this cooktop come with a grill or a griddle? The attached pictures shows a grill at times and a griddle other times. And on another website different Zline customer reps have said contradicting things when answering this question.
